Why We Only Source From STC-Certified Manufacturers

Most nicotine suppliers don't tell you where their product comes from. We publish our sourcing standards because we think you should know exactly what you're buying and who made it.

What We Require

Every manufacturing partner we work with must meet all six of these standards. Not some. All.

STC Certification

Sustainability, Traceability, and Compliance verified across the entire supply chain. Not just the factory. The farms, the logistics, the labor practices. All of it.

ISO 9001 + HACCP

Current, verifiable quality management and food safety certifications. We check audit dates. Expired certificates are a disqualifier.

EcoVadis Rating

Independent sustainability assessment covering environment, labor, ethics, and procurement. Our manufacturing partner holds Silver. We won't work with unrated suppliers.

Full Chain of Custody

Every batch traceable to a specific farm and harvest. Not 'we source from India.' Actual farm names, harvest dates, and processing records.

Fair Labor Practices

SQP and WCA audited workforce conditions. Fair wages, safe environments, no child labor. Verified by third-party auditors, not self-reported.

Environmental Controls

Documented waste management, emissions monitoring, and water usage. Closed-loop processing where possible. Carbon footprint tracking.

What We Reject

These are not edge cases. These are common practices in the nicotine supply industry. We walk away from suppliers who do any of the following.

  • Suppliers who source from anonymous middlemen or spot markets
  • Facilities without current, third-party-verified certifications
  • Products that can't be traced back to a specific origin
  • Manufacturers who won't allow independent facility audits
  • Any supply chain with documented labor or environmental violations

Why This Matters to You

If your nicotine supplier sources from anonymous middlemen, your supply chain has a gap you can't audit. If their certificates are expired or self-issued, your regulatory filings are built on sand.

The nicotine industry has real problems: tobacco dust sourcing, heavy metal contamination, undocumented labor practices, and zero traceability. These aren't hypotheticals. They're the reason STC certification exists.

We chose to build our business on the other side of that line.

What This Means for You

Our sourcing standards aren't just principles. They're practical advantages for your business.

Audit-Ready on Day One

When your customers or regulators ask about your nicotine supply chain, you hand them our documentation package. COA, MSDS, TDS, STC records. All there.

ESG Compliance Built In

Your procurement team needs ESG-compliant suppliers for reporting. Our EcoVadis-rated, STC-certified supply chain checks that box without extra work on your end.

No Surprises in Due Diligence

We publish our standards because we want you to hold us to them. When you run supplier due diligence on NicAlliance, you'll find exactly what we told you you'd find.
